    In marketing terminology we say Define your Target Market (or even a segment of target market that is called Niche).

    We cannot please all of our customers all the time. Trying to do all the things for your customers is not recommended.

    Define your Target Market. It is a first step towards marketing. If you do not know specifically to whom do you want to serve, you are on a disastrous track.

    There must be one segment of population or your town to whom you are treating. For example, Apple Macintosh is targetting the people who can give high price against the quality.

    Head & Shoulders is targeting to population who have Dandruff.

    So decide to whom are you targeting & on what basis?
